Glock Mags?

Submit
Stewart Northey 10 months ago

Yes, it uses Glock magazines although the one it comes with is a copy made by ProMag. Even DB's site has precious little useful information but here it is anyway: https://diamondbackfirearms.com/portfolio/db9rpfb7/

Stewart Northey 10 months ago

Safe to carry with a round chambered?

Submit
Stewart Northey 1 year ago

As long as the trigger isn’t pressed it shouldn’t go off. Carrying with a round chambered is more of a personal preference. I carry a Glock 43 chambered and I understand the the extra risk in doing so. I also understand the risk in not doing so.

Keeping the magazine loaded

Submit
Stewart Northey 1 year ago

The spring will probably degrade about 1/16 inch in 5 years if it is kept loaded and depressed so keeping it loaded is not an issue. Springs wear when you load and shoot and the spring is constantly worked up and down and should be replaced yearly if you shoot alot.

Type of Ammo

Stewart Northey 1 year ago

David, no, Diamondback recommends 124gr or lower for reliability. This is true of most short barreled pocket 9mm pistols.

Stewart Northey 1 year ago

Adam, this is a Gen II pistol. This pistol was recently restocked which accounts for the price different. Prices are directly tied to stock numbers at Buds. The price will rise as the level of stock goes down.

Asked by Stewart Northey 2 years ago

Which foregrip is on this rifle?

Submit
Stewart Northey 1 year ago

Hi James, the UPC code references the 9" Key Mod Rail as pictured. I have also seen other vendors with the same UPC code and lists the 15" rail on DB's website. I would call Buds Customer Service at (859) 368-0371 for verification on this one.

Asked by Stewart Northey 2 years ago

does it come with new 15 inch hand guard

Submit
Stewart Northey 1 year ago

Hi Teery, this will be difficult since Buds does not open new firearm packages. I have checked the UPC codes and Buds has the latest released numbers. You should receive the 15inch KeyMod Rail that you are looking for. On the very slim chance you receive the shorter 9 inch rail, you can always refuse the transfer at your FFL for a replacement or refund/your choice from Buds. You can always call Customer Service at (859) 368-0371 and ask to speak with a Manager in reference to the Rail you wish to receive.
