Shipped with a 10 or 13 round magazine, the Glock 23 Gen 3 can accept any .40 caliber double-stack magazine allowing additional capacities of 15 and 28 rounds.
Glock 23 Gen 3 Feature
The Glock 23 Gen 3 is a semi-automatic, polymer-framed pistol that operates on a short recoil action with a tilting bolt. It is striker fired and is built with a 4.02 inch barrel topped with factory Glock sights. Being a Gen3 model, it has an accessory rail on the front of the frame for mounting lights and lasers and such. Its magazine release is non-reversible.
Glock 23 Gen 3 Ergonomics
The Glock 23 Gen3 employs identical ergonomics, takedown, and aftermarket capability of the Glock 19, though has a slightly smaller standard magazine capacity to accommodate the wider .40 S&W cartridge. As a Gen3, it has a sandpaper style texturing on the left and right sides of the grip, finger grooves along the front and molded texturing along the back of the grip.
Glock 23 Gen 3 Concealability
With identical dimensions to the Glock 19, this pistol is just as easy to conceal as its 9mm brother. With the right holster and possibly some thicker attire, concealing the Glock 23 should be no trouble.
