See DealThis Glock 36 packs 6 rounds of 45 ACP stopping power in a package that fits the hands of most any user. The Slimline design has incorporated the use of a single-stack magazine and measures only 1.13 inches in width which makes controlling recoil very simple. It is easy-to-use, hard to see, and tough to face.

Larry J. Ogden on Glock 36
I am 68 and artheritic. But I watched people operate all glocks on youtube....I know I'm not that weak because they jack the slide with almost no strain. It is all but impossable for me to breake the g36 down for cleaning and lubing !!! One gun smith said that the action was almost normal, I don't believe it...Any Ideas ???? ...more
I'm my opinion, this is one of the most underrated Glock models. As a .45 ACP enthusiast this is a great CC option. I equipped my G36 with a set of Glock night sights, 3.5lb trigger bar, aftermarket trigger, and a Pearce +0 grip extension. It has surprisingly little recoil. Now that the frame comes with the ability to mount a light or laser I would expect this model to gain more popularity. I hope Glock continues to update the G36 and expand their single stack lines with the growing success of the G42 and G43. ...more
Put this on a 90 day layaway without any problem and picked it up 2 weeks ago from my FFL. I've heard a lot of negative things about the G36 but wanted one for myself as a conceal carry pistol. Took it to the range today and fired 150 rounds of Federal .45 acp, 230 gr FMJ brass and aluminum casing rounds without one single issue. So in my opinion, the negative things I heard were null and void after I fired it. This will be my go to carry gun now. Buds doesn't fail. This is my 5th gun from them and I will be buying more. ...more
EPITOME OF CONCEALED CARRY
Buy one, send the slide to the Glock Store for the Predator cut, have the barrel done with titanium nitride, install all the extended controls available, a tungsten guide rod, a Pyramid trigger, get a couple of magazine extensions and you have what is, in my mind, the ultimate carry weapon. Carry inside the waistband and you can go out in the heat of summer in shorts and a t-shirt without printing. With a light jacket or sweater in fall/winter, it's invisible. With one round in the chamber and seven in the mag (with the +1 extension) you've got 8 rounds of .45 acp at your disposal, which is easily enough to deal with any critical incident. Don't get me wrong, I love my G43, and now that I've had the trigger on my Springfield XD 45 tuned up, I like it fine. But the G36 epitomizes what a concealed carry weapon should be. ...more
AN AMAZING CONCEPT!!
This is the best defensive choice that I could have made in a handgun. It is compact so that it can go almost anywhere, and the .45 is is THEE proven fight stopper. It does jump when fired as should be expected, but a tight grip and some range practice can alleviate a lot of that. If you don't mind a little muzzle jump, this is an excellent defensive handgun. ...more

I've had my G36 for a few years now and I love it. I recently started making my own rounds and have not had any issues with feeds. I used to carry a G23, but really didn't like the recoil of the .40. The G36 is smoother to and for, me. Do not compare this weapon to the 1911. I feel much more accurate when shooting a full-sized 1911, but my G36 is my "go to" when carrying concealed, and I carry everywhere I'm legally allowed here in GA. I carry in a Tagua OWB mostly, but received a Supertuck by CrossBreed for Christmas and am working on the transition. My Tagua is broken in, whereas my Supertuck is not. The major benefit of the Supertuck is that my G36 can be completely concealed with a tucked in shirt. Now, I know some folks will complain "it only holds 6 rounds". But, I don't find that a problem. I believe that at close range if 6 isn't enough I've failed my training. I've got a couple of magazines with the Pearce +1 extension, but in my opinion, its just enough to make the G36 bulky. Bottom line is, train with what you carry. I carry a G36. ...more
