Remington 1911 R1 Hunter Capacity

The Remington 1911 R1 Hunter is chambered in 10mm Auto and feeds from a single-stack 8 round magazine.  Thanks to the inherent strength and durability of the 1911 design coupled with the added mass of the 10mm frame, the R1 can easily handle +P loads.

Remington 1911 R1 Hunter Ergonomics

Ergonomics
The R1 Hunter is built with an ambidextrous extended safety flanking a grip that is smooth on the front and checkered along the back.  The grip panels that come with the gun are designed to dig into your hand so you can easily control the 10mm’s recoil even if your hands are covered in sweat and mud.  The slide has front and rear serrations for manually running the action, and the added mass of the longer slide delivers a recoil impulse that is almost identical to a .45 caliber 1911.

Remington 1911 R1 Hunter Fit & Finish

The Remington R1 Hunter is built with a stainless steel frame, slide and barrel and is cerakoted to give it a non-reflective finish.  The trigger is adjustable with the use of an allen wrench and the windage and elevation adjustable sight is adjusted with a simple flathead screwdriver.  The gun’s grip panels are made of a hard polymer and are interchangeable with standard aftermarket grip panels.
